Jamie King competes in Deaf Olympics

Jamie King, the 19 year old from Southampton, who coaches at the Avenue Lawn Tennis & Squash Club in Havant is currently competing in the Deaf Olympics being held in Taipei.

 

 

 

Jamie was selected for the event by team captain Roger Jones based on his improvement in the last 12 months, hard work and commitment to tennis.

Jamie pictured above with the GB Team is currently working with the Avenue Lawn Tennis Club and Hampshire & Isle of Wight LTA to develop a deaf tennis club within the area to help pass on his experiences and knowledge to other people in the future.
