Manor Park Mini Tennis Festival - 27th April
We dropped off glossy flyers to all the local primary schools inviting all kids in years 0,1 and 2. On the back we put a prize draw entry form which enabled us to collect everybody’s details. This worked very well.
We had 63 children turn up on the day and it felt very busy!!! We had 7 stations of activity which included a best rally competition and a top skipper station. Both of the kids who won received half a term’s coaching which they have just completed and have now signed up for the next half term.
Each station had small prizes to be won - including LTA wristbands, key rings etc. This again was very popular.
The Prize Draw was a definite hit and we gave away 2 mini rackets and 4 free cardio sessions for the parents.
We have had very good feedback from parents and kids and have had over 10% of the participants sign up for courses.
We will definitely repeat the exercise again in September.
