Reminders first. Have you entered the club’s Sport Relief tournament on Sunday 20 March? If not get your name to Jackie Russell quickly as there will probably be a limit on numbers. Registration is at 9.45 and play commences at 10am prompt. Entry fee is £10 which includes a bacon or sausage bap and tea/coffee or soft drink This is a fun event for seniors and yellow ball juniors – similar to the President’s Day Senior/Junior event in September. A reminder also that membership fees are due for renewal by 31 March. Memberships not renewed by 1 April will be deemed lapsed. If you haven’t picked up your form from the clubhouse yet please do so soon and save the club a huge bill on postage.
Albany Nedgroup Investments Junior Open will be held from 16 – 23 April. Entry forms have been e-mailed to all junior and mini tennis members and forms are also available in the clubhouse.
Events are: 8 & under (Red ball) mixed on Saturday 16th 2pm-4pm ; 9 & under (Orange ball) boys and girls Saturday 16th 10am –2pm ; 10 & under (Green ball) mixed on Sunday 17th 2pm – 5pm . 12 & under mixed singles and 18 & under mixed singles ALL WEEK from 16th April. Players must be available for their first round matches and FINALS DAY 23 APRIL 2016. This is a Grade 4 LTA Sanctioned Tournament. The event is open to juniors from all the Island clubs and visiting players.
