Refereeing is one of the ways to be involved in competition and a referee is the person who is responsible for supervising all players at a competition to ensure they follow the rules of tennis. A qualified referee is needed at Grade 5 competitions and above as these count for AEGON British Tennis Ratings and Rankings

NEW COMPETITION SEARCH TOOL

Competition search is the way players and parents can find, enter and pay for a competition online. It’s one of the most used areas of the LTA website, with over 2 million visits a year; however it was introduced over 5 years ago and is due for an upgrade.

AEGON 9U County Cup

The 9U County Cup consists of three boys singles, three girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles then a mixed doubles. A total of nine rubbers per match. The Kent team was Liam Vincent, Isaac Jochim, Jack Pinnington Jones, Abby Reinfelde, Emma Sawkings, Ella Wood and Katie Swindell.Kent had to play against Sussex, Surrey and Middlesex, the event was played at The Sutton Tennis Academy.

With Wimbledon come and gone and the London Olympics just around the corner it was time for the mighty Kent mens team to fire it up for our annual battle down on the courts of Devonshire park in County Cup’s top division.

The HSBC Road To Wimbledon 14 & Under National Finals Press Release 15th-20th August

James Davis, 13, has reached the Final and ended the tournament at Wimbledon as runner – up playing phenomenal tennis, at The HSBC Road To Wimbledon, where only a few weeks ago Roger Federer triumphed over Andy Murray to win the 126th men’s title and his 7th men’s title; while Serena Williams defeated Agnieszka Radwanska to be crowned Ladies’ singles champion.
