After a succession of near misses Lorton Tennis Club’s Vincent Lofgren showed how he has improved by winning the latest leg of the West Cumbria Mini Red Tour. Throughout the event he remained a cool and calm presence and with each round he got progressively better resulting in a final victory over Netherhall winner Akshay Dharmrajan.
Due to illness and other commitments the girls event was cancelled. The tour marches onto its next stop at Moorclose Sports Centre on the 8th of February with the leaderboard race really hotting up as each player looks to finish in the top 8 places to make the Grand Finals at the end of March.
