Paul Bentley of Norbreck Bowling and Tennis Club, in Blackpool ran a successful Team Challenge Yellow ball event over the weekend. Paul said “I had 3 Teams Norbreck, Hambleton, Moorland with 12 players in total. I followed the format for a 2 court club with singles & doubles…I had music playing & I ended the event with a fun relay game & it took about 2:30 hrs. It was great weather for a change.”
Of the free resource pack that was provided in order to run the event Paul said “[It was] well received, the Jrs liked the player passes, winning medals & grips, dampeners, and the certificates were very well received…All in all a good event which received good feedback from the parents & Jrs I was asked when’s the next one!!!”
Alongside this great event was a Cardio Fundraiser on behalf of the Blue Skies Hospital Fund with a performance from Majestic, a Queen Tribute band. Some of the members went all out with fancy dress in order to raise money for the charity.
