Tennis Leicestershire will be running a training session on the tournament software used by all competition organisers on Monday 23 November at Beauchamp College in Oadby.
This advanced training is essential in providing organisers with an up to date understanding of the changing nature of the software and also the exciting coming changes which will provide organisers with the authority to upload their results directly onto the LTA website thus simplifying and streamlining the whole process.
Training will also be available to newcomers to the software. A training manual along with a copy of the software and licence will be supplied in advance for these candidates with which to familiarise themselves and prepare any questions they may have.
The course will be tutored by Ed Bradford, and Tuula Hastings from the county office will also be on hand to highlight and discuss any current issues there may be concerning the set up, completion and uploading of TTP files organisers may have. Some of the issues to be covered will include:
- Recent improvements to the software including shortcuts
- The importance of tournament coding
- Scheduling matches
- Logging payments
We would therefore encourage all current competition organisers, coaches and referees to attend this evening along with anyone with an interest in tournament planning.
Please note this course will run from 6.30pm - 9.30pm and light refreshments will be provided.
If you wish to attend this training then please complete and return the application form by Wednesday 18 November.
