A number of junior tennis players from Loughborough have been retained on the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) AEGON FutureStars Programme for the second consecutive year.

Barnaby Thorold, 11, from Long Whatton, Christopher Egan Morriss, 14, from Burton-on-the-Worlds and 19 year old Ahmed El Menshawy from Loughborough are all highlighted by the LTA as being some of the best young talents in the country.

Steve Martens, Player Director for the LTA said, “Identifying talent from an early age onwards is crucial for the sport and we’re confident that the AEGON FutureStars will demonstrate that we have a wealth of talent across the different age groups on the player pathway”.
