A flourishing village tennis club is celebrating the switching on of their new floodlights.
Husbands Bosworth Tennis Club near Market Harborough has also resurfaced one of its courts.
The £20,000 project has been paid for from a grant from Harborough District Council, funded by developers who built in the area.
Founding member Alan Lister said: "We were founded in 1979 and our first court was opened in 1982.
"We have 70 members and 20 juniors and are the largest club in the village.
"We have some funds left over from the grant and we may use them to resurface our other court in the next few months."
He said the club was keen to encourage youngsters to take up the sport.
Mr Lister added: "As our courts are all-weather, we are now having people playing after dark during the winter.
"We are delighted with the improvements and it now means more people can play during the week."
