A successful 8U Mini Red grade 6 tournament took place at the Dan Maskell Tennis Centre on Saturday 5 June with 15 participants creating a great atmosphere and all players managing to play six matches.
Excellent tennis was played by all so much so that the organiser, Richard Wilson commented that 'the standard was very high more like a grade 4 event'.
In the end Robert Dowsett from Burton Joyce TC was the winner.
All participants earned valuable points towards the leader board in Derbyshire/Leicestershire with the top 8 boys and girls being invited to attend the 3rd July.
