Loughborough have made a strong start in defending the men's European University Championships.
Last year they became the first UK University to claim the European crown last year.
This time, the team of John Kinsella, Scott Dickson, Josh Miller, Scott Whitbread and James Shacklock won their qualifying group in Leeds.
They began with 6-0 victories over Bath and Cambridge.
They rounded off with a 5-1 success over Leeds Metropolitan University, who were playing in front of their home crowd.
University coach Jon Pankhurst said: "I am delighted with the way the team rose to the occasion. Playing against a strong Leeds Metropolitan team was always going to be a tough ask."
The finals are at Gosling Tennis Centre, Hertfordshire, from November 12 to 14.
