Loughborough University is currently staging the first professional tennis tournament in the county for 40 years.
Some of the best up-and-coming players in the world are due to tackle the AEGON GB Pro Series Loughborough event.
Chris Earle, the University's director of sport, said: "Working in partnership with the LTA to bring international tennis to the university is a significant addition to our calendar of events. I hope that the players and spectators enjoy the event."
A total of 24 players will be flying the flag for Britain, including nine of the nation's top 20.
Britain's No.2 James Ward, who recently competed at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, is in the main draw.
Commonwealth Games mixed doubles champion Jocelyn Rae is also set to take part.
The qualifying rounds started on Monday with the main draw on Wednesday and the finals scheduled for this weekend.
