When is the cut off date for my place to play to get Members signed up to BTM to contribute to our allocation?
The cut off date this year is 11:59pm on 31st January. This means that you’ve got an extra 2 months to get your members signed up to increase your allocation of tickets!
BTM must be valid on 1st February 2011 to count towards your club’s allocation.
Start spreading the word now using one of our easy options to sign up!
*If your members are signing up using a paper form via the post, we’ll need to receive this form by 27th January 2011 to make sure we have time to process it before the deadline.
How do the Places to Play Ballots work?
Ticket allocation for registered places to play will work in the same way that it has in the past:
Your County will receive an allocation of tickets based on their portion of BTM’s against the total BTM’s in the UK. So, if your County has 30% of all BTM’s in it, then they will receive 30% of the allocation of tickets.
Your club will be allocated tickets on the same premise – so based on the number of BTM’s at your club in proportion to the overall number of BTM’s in your County.
This makes sure that BTM’s have an equal chance in the various ballots that are run across the UK!
Last year my place to play only had a few BTM’s and so we didn’t get any tickets, what about us?
If your place to play has less than 10-15 BTM’s there is a chance it won’t be enough to get an allocation of tickets. To avoid this, encourage others at your club to sign up to BTM before the deadline so you’ll get some tickets and can run a ballot at your club too! Why not, it’s a free benefit after all…
