The LVLTA held their 21st annual dinner and AGM at Devonshire Place on Thursday 31st March.
256 ladies enjoyed competitive tennis throughout the winter months culminating in an enjoyable evening and prize giving to the winners and runners up in each of the 16 groups.
We said goodbye to four committee members - Jan Provis who was the 1st tournament director and has been such an able Chairman for the last few years – Val Lord who has been on the committee for 20 years and in her post of Secretary has also archived material for others to enjoy - Sandra Middleditch who has been on the committee 14 years, responsible for publicity and photographer extraordinaire! - Joan Williams who has looked after the summer super vets competition.
We thank them for all their dedication and hard work – we shall miss them all.
We welcomed three new members to the committee - Mary Vesty, Lynn Norwood and Sheila Caban. We look forward to working with them.
