They beat Kent 5-0 and then overcame Yorkshire, who conceded at 3-0 down.
In the decider, the County line-up of Jon Ison (Leicestershire Club), Ralph Clarke (Oakham), Chris Harwood (LFE), David Ireland (Oadby) and Andy Crane (Leics) were pipped 3-2 by Berkshire.
