On Tuesday, 28th June the final of the Schools’ Year 7/8 event was played at Knighton Tennis Centre. The two Schools to reach the final were Market Bosworth High School and Lancaster/Sir Jonathan North School.
The teams were made up of 2 boys and 2 girls and each player was required to play a singles and a doubles. There was some great tennis with real variety in the shots played, and the manner in which both teams played was a real credit to their schools.
Lancaster/ Sir Jonathan North School came out as the overall winner by 4 rubbers to 2.
