Leicestershire Constabulary will be bidding for their seventh consecutive promotion in the men's divisions of the Leicestershire League this summer.
Constab, as they are regularly called, have climbed from the bottom division in Leicestershire to competing in Division 3A.
The team were founded in 2004 and they have won their division every summer since joining the League.
Despite the name, the team is made up of both police officers and members of the public. That is because of shifts clashing with playing times.
Captain Simon Preston said: "We've got a great group of lads.
"When we first entered the leagues, we knew it would be difficult to work our way up the divisions.
"But every season we've been fortunate enough to win promotion."
Constab currently have 10 active playing members, all of whom have previously appeared for other teams around the county.
Preston said: "A lot of the team is made up from people at work, but the other players are friends and family, so we're a very tight bunch.
"That's why we first started off and we still play together now."
Six consecutive promotions with only 10 players is an outstanding achievement, but Constab are still aiming to reach Leicestershire's highest division.
This season the challenge is even tougher.
But Preston believes that they have the ability in their squad to do it again.
"We never know what's going to happen," he said.
"All we can do is try our hardest and, hopefully, that will be enough for promotion number seven."
