On a bright afternoon 40 Royalists (almost) gathered to ensure that all 10 courts would be in use for what would turn out to be one of the most successful doubles tournaments – since the Golden Jubilee 10 years ago!
Supported by players from across the standard spectrum and including coaches, the quality players ensured that they played in the spirit of the day and had their fun by retrieving and playing ‘impossible’ shots.

The men’s winners was dominated by 6th team members Adam Sattar, Geraint Rees and Dave Oliver (see main picture) who all wore their Jubilee Medal with pride.
