Enderby Tennis Club were celebrating this week after being awarded clubmark accreditation. The three court club have become the twenty third in Leicestershire to achieve the accreditation.
Tennis Clubmark recognises good practice in tennis clubs in areas including action planning, tennis development programmes, policies and procedures and communication. Enderby have been working hard during recent months to put together the Tennis Clubmark folder with evidence of their range of activities and how the club is run.
Paul Sheard, LTA Regional Tennis Participation Manager for Leicestershire and Derbyshire visited Enderby to present the clubmark plaque and congratulate the club on their efforts.
“I would like to congratulate Enderby TC on achieving clubmark accreditation. Steve Ince has done a fantastic job pulling together all the evidence required to meet the tennis clubmark criteria and show that they are meeting the quality benchmark set out by Sport England. It’s been a great effort by the club and its volunteers and demonstrates their commitment to provide the best possible opportunities and environment for the local tennis community” said Paul.
The club are looking forward to another good season in the local tennis leagues.
