Desford Lawn Tennis Club and East Midland Special Olympic Tennis Player Matthew Chilvers was a double gold medallist at the Midlands Regional Tournament held at Nottingham Tennis Centre, winning the singles and doubles events. Over 60 participants took part in the event coming as far from Cornwall and Scotland to participate. Matthew was delighted with his double gold. This builds on his successful start to the season in the northern region when he won a silver in singles and a gold in doubles and his gold in singles and bronze in doubles at the Southern Region tournament.
