Grantham Tennis Club member, Sam Bass (17) has set his sights firmly set on a career in coaching.
Having previously completed his Level 1 Coaching Assistant training he has now achieved the next step in his game plan - UKCC Level 2.
As a Level 2 Coaching Assistant his role is to work with his club’s Head Coach in order to achieve the main objectives of Beginners’ Tennis, which may be delivered through mini tennis. Sam now helps with group lessons at Grantham but his aim is to achieve the level of Performance Coach.
He recently completed a Young Volunteers Competition Organiser course which gave him the resources to help run junior competitions at his local club.
