Over 60 children aged between 6 -7 years attended a two hour get to know tennis session at Grantham Tennis Club last week. Held over two days due to the high demand for places, this was the culmination of a programme set up by Grantham Tennis Club to get into local schools to encourage younger children into the wonderful world of tennis. Head coach Richard Edgley led the extremely busy sessions, ably assisted by the club's junior helpers. Club coach Sarah Patton said; 'the feedback has been fantastic from both kids and parents with a significant number of children attending joining the club.'
Schools involved were : Dudley House, Gonerby Hill Foot, St Annes, Ingoldsby, Cliffedale, St Sebastions, Harrowby, Marston, Barrowby and Barkston & Syston
