Stamford Tennis Club has became the first club in south Lincolnshire to achieve the LTA Clubmark award which is a recognition by the LTA of an excellent standard of facilities, management, coaching set up and all round quality.
Stamford Tennis Club was founded in 1993 and is owned and run by its members. There are 7 floodlit hard courts off Conduit Road, Stamford which are available for open club session and individual games. Tennis is available all year round including evenings.
It currently has about 300 members and welcomes all newcomers. The club have a lease from Stamford School to use the school tennis courts. Sixteen teams competing in local leagues and also provide social tennis for all ability ranges. An enthusiastic coaching team caters for all ages and abilities.
