Dominic Beesley (Boston) had two victories in the under 16s and under 18s Boys Singles. He played Andrew Ponder (Horncastle) in the 18U events and Joe Woolley (Boston) in the 16Us. Beesley won the U18s 6-2, 6-2 and the U16 Boys 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
Madeline Verdegaal (Boston) won in two events, the under 18 and under 16s girls singles beating Emily Hawkesworth (Boston) 6-0, 6-1 and Katy Darke (Tennis Buddies) 6-1, 6-0.
Katy Darke (Tennis Buddies) beat Elizabeth Thomas (DL Burton Waters) 6-1, 6-1 in the 14U girls singles and Joe Woolley beat Henry Beesley (Boston) 6-4, 6-4 in the 14U boys singles.
In 12Us, the girls singles was won by second seed Dana Kenneally-Forrester who beat Jess Jackson 6-2, 6-4. In the boys 12U singles Josh Elliot (Tennis Buddies + top seed) prevailed over Blake Kenneally-Forrester (Boston)6-3, 6-0.
10U girls singles was won by Rose Thomas (DL Burton Waters) who beat Victoria Beardsley (Boston) 5-3, 4-1. The boys event final was between competitive DL Burton Waters club mates Jake Holt and Otto Jawahir with Jake triumphing with a score of 4-1, 4-1.
9U girls event was won by Amy Goddard (Grimsby St James) with Lucy Hull (Boston) the runner up. The Boys 9U singles was won by Otto Jawahir (DL Burton Waters) who won his round robin group and was victorious in the elimination final against Lucas East (Boston) with a score of 4-7, 8-6, 7-2.
The 8U event was played at indoors with sponge balls on with players playing quick fire, first to 10 point match tie breaks. For many of these players it was their first experience playing in the Lincolnshire County Closed. The U8 Girls winner was Lucy Evans (DL Burton Waters) who won all of her matches against the other girls with Paris Royal (Boston) runner up.
In the boys event it was Matthew Gedney (Boston) and William Barker (Stamford) battling it out in the final after both boys won their respective round robin boxes undefeated. Gedney won the match 10- 4.
