Highlights of the night saw Joe Woolley, won the award for junior boy of the year.
In 2011 Joe reached the semis at the Tennis Europe event in Edinburgh, he was county U14 champion and U16 runner-up. During the year he also attained number one in British rankings U13, and number three in British rankings U14.
The best Junior Girl category was won by Madeline Verdegaal who had a very successful year, finishing 16U and 18U Girls’ County Champion.
Special mention also went to the winners of the Team of the Year; the Men’s County Cup Team who in gained promotion in the summer at Felixstowe. In November at Sunderland they finished group winners and gained promotion yet again. Across the two events they won 55 matches and lost nine.

“Lincolnshire LTA enjoyed a great atmosphere at the National Golf Centre in Woodhall Spa celebrating the huge amount of work done by volunteers across the County.
“Barry Cowan contributed to a fantastic event presenting trophies to league winners and award winners.
“There is a tremendous amount of work carried out by volunteers in clubs and at county level and it was good to see so many people enjoying the awards evening and celebrating the successes of 2011.”
