Lincolnshire's Road To Wimbledon County Finals took place over the Wimbledon Championships weekend.
Phillipa Bourne (Coral top) and Lucy Evans reached the girls final and Pippa
had the edge during a very hot day. Richard Hagan, Tennis Chair of
Eastgate Club presented the girls with their trophies on Saturday.
The boys draw was played over two days and the finalists were Greg Colclough and Freddie Carroll (Orange top). Their final was gripping however Greg (Number 1 seed) triumphed. Both players were on top form, especially unseeded Freddie who fought through to the final. Some great shots from both players had us on the edge of our seats!
Lincolnshire's Phil Mason was the referee and presenter of prizes on Sunday.
He also had the pleasure of telling some of the entrants that he taught their coaches when they were younger!
