Community Tennis Project Manager required for the King’s Lynn & West Norfolk LTA community tennis pilot

The Tennis Foundation (TF) and Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) are working together to plan, deliver and evaluate a major pilot programme, which is designed to accelerate progress towards the achievement of a shared vision:

A sport, which is truly inclusive and accessible in every kind of community

A total of eight pilot areas have been selected across the UK. The purpose of these pilots is to understand how we can attract more people to play tennis in areas where tennis may traditionally not be a chosen sport with the view of providing more tennis playing opportunities to a wider cross section of the community. 

King’s Lynn & West Norfolk has been identified as one of eight community tennis pilot areas across the UK.  With the initial feasibility study now almost complete the LTA are now a seeking a Project Manager who will play an essential part in developing and delivering a sustainable, inclusive, affordable and accessible Community Tennis Programme for this assigned area. The role will require the successful applicant working with key partners to develop tennis in the community establishing appropriate facilities and workforce to increase participation and help more people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to play tennis.
