Over 300 eager school children from across the county have picked up a racket and played competitive mini tennis matches as part of the School Games Festival this year.
Sixteen schools from across Norfolk were victorious in their local borough or partnership Year 3&4 Mini Tennis Red Competitions to earn their place in the School Games Final. This took place last week at Easton College.
Tennis was one of the highlights of the day with Cringleford Primary School emerging as the winners. The children were full of energy & played some incredible tennis throughout the day. Well done to all the children who took part.
Sally Pearson, Tennis Development Manager said: “It is fantastic to see so many children involved in this mini tennis competition. It has introduced new children into the game and hopefully they will continue to play at their local tennis club.”

Thank you also to all the volunteers without their support the event would not have happened, along with teachers, School Games Organisers, local coaches and their clubs.
