Tennis Clubmark

KES Community Tennis Club and Wymondham Tennis Club have successfully achieved Tennis Clubmark accreditation.

KES Community Tennis Club is a four-court club in Kings Lynn, based on the King Edward VII school site. With continued support from West Norfolk District Council and the local schools partnerships, this community programme is growing rapidly and offers programmes for both juniors and adults.

Wymondham Tennis Club is a three-court club. The committee have embraced the whole Tennis Clubmark process and used it to update their club policies and procedures, to review the tennis programme (delivered by EA Tennis) and to map out the future direction of the club.

There are now 7 clubs in Norfolk who have successfully achieved Tennis Clubmark. These are:

• East Anglia T&SC
• Easton Tennis Academy
• EA Tennis
• Esporta, Norwich
• KES Community TC
• Thorpe Community TC
• Wymondham TC

Tennis Clubmark is a club’s opportunity to be recognised for achieving excellent standards.

Achieving Tennis Clubmark means the LTA endorses and supports a club’s tennis programme, policies and procedures, action and development planning, and club management.

Funding bodies and organisations outside of the LTA, including schools, will be looking to support and work with clubs that have achieved the Tennis Clubmark accreditation.
