The Northamptonshire Junior County Closed took place from the 27th to the 31st August at Corby Tennis Centre. This was the first time that the Closed had been held at Corby. A fast developing club, with 6 new outdoor floodlit courts, a practice wall and 8 indoor courts make it the perfect venue for such an event.
In spite of some small draws this year, there were some excellent matches played on Finals Day in perfect tennis weather. A special mention to Jack Haworth who won the Boys 18U Singles and the Boys 16U Singles events. Joe Tyler also played some fantastic tennis and won the 14U Boys Singles and the 14U Boys Doubles event with Cameron Yuill.
