Cramlington Tennis courts look great as they reopen after being resurfaced.
Jane Grey, who is the Chairperson at Cramlington Community Tennis Programme epitomises the true meaning behind commitment, determination and unwillingness to EVER give up....her tireless work along with the team at Cramlington will see the... relaunch of the new courts on Wednesday 15th May. Jane you are a true leader and should be very proud of your achievements...
In Jane's own words......
'Just in case you haven't been down to our tennis courts in Alexandra Park, I am delighted to say that following our hard work in raising £40,000, our courts are now resurfaced and look amazing! (There's a photo on our website - www.cramtennis.co.uk and also on our Facebook page).
To celebrate this had a re-launch of our tennis programme to which all our Cramlington community Tennis Members (CCTP) members were invited. This was held at our newly resurfaced courts.
We had two tennis playing footballers coming along to cut the ribbon. The footballers were challenged to a doubles game against two of our members which made great viewing!
