The Northumberland Club in the heart of Jesmond, Newcastle, is playing host to one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) social tournament it’s ever seen. 12 outdoor courts will be in use to an expected 100 member and non-members of the club for the mixed doubles event. The tournament will take place on Bank Holiday Monday (25th May), with play starting at 1.30pm.
Tennis won’t be the only thing on the agenda though, as anyone from the club will know! Refreshments and light bites will be on offer throughout the day and a drinks party will be taking place in the evening.
Prizes have been generously donated by sponsors, including dinner for 2 at the Jesmond Dene and SIX restuarants.
