Ladies Winter League

Ilkeston ladies are still on track to win the ladies first division title following an emphatic home win against a severely depleted Mansfield team. Sarah Wright and Christie Newbold were the dominant couple winning 35 games for the loss of only 1. Magdala kept them selves in with a chance of winning the title with a workman like performance against Woodthorpe. Jenny French and Jo Moran were the top couple with 29 games. West Bridgford are not giving up their title with out a fight, following the demolition of Burton Joyce, who were short of a few key players. Lisa Knowles and Jo Fox were the top couple with 34 games. Ilkeston will win the title if they win or draw their last match against Magdala. However, Magdala or West Bridgford could still win the title if they win their remaining matches and Ilkeston slip up.

Lady Bay have won the division 3 title, following a close fought win against second placed Southwell, to remain unbeaten this season. Dominique McLean and Amber Williams were the top couple with 26 games. Southwell kept their chances of promotion alive with an away win at Attenborough. Renee Parker and Shelia Drummond were the top couple with 28 games.

Caunton ‘D’ maintained their unbeaten run at the top of division 7, with a comfortable home win against Farnsfield ‘C’ who are struggling, without a win this season. Third placed East Bridgford ‘B’ had a comfortable away win against Magdala ‘C’, to stay just behind second placed Mansfield ‘B’.
