To start the summer tennis season, Woodstock Tennis Club arranged an Open day to encourage all those in the local community who wanted to give tennis a go, regardless of ability or disability to come and try.
Over 100 attendees enjoyed the warmest Sunday of the year and a took part in wheelchair tennis, cardio tennis, mini tennis, tennis for visually impaired as well as trying to get the fastest serve (recorded at 89mph). Some just played a friendly game of doubles and enjoyed some tea and home-made cakes, also a key part of being part of tennis club.
The club benefited from receiving 10 brand new memberships on the day and many children booking into the coaching courses starting this week.
