Despite home advantage Oxfordshire Ladies found it tough going against some strong oposition in Group 4 of the AEGON Summer County Cup.
Missing some key players from previous campaigns, the Oxfordshire Ladies faced an uphill task to stay in Group 4, played at North Oxford LTC last week. Unfortunately, it proved too much of a mountain to climb and they were relegated to DIvision 5 for next Summers Event.
Despite the results, the players gave it their all and the experience will stand them in good stead for future campaigns. Captain, Emma Tolson, was realistic and said "We played some good Tennis. I know the results looks bad, but some of the individual scores were good."
