The Boodles Challenge 12&Under event, which ran for the first time last year, gives players from clubs in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire the opportunity to win a place at the finals day of the Boodles Challenge at Stoke Park.
Clubs across Oxfordshire ran events for their members with the winners of the club events going through to a County final. The Oxfordshire County finals were held at the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre on Saturday 5th June. The winners Penn Frank and Aiofa Miller will now have the opportunity to play at finals day on the grass courts at Stoke Park against other players from Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Last years finalists had a fantastic day which, in addition to the chance to play, included watching some of the worlds best players many of whom regularly play at Boodles as part of their Wimbledon preparation. They even met Nikolay Davydenko who went onto win the ATP Tour finals later in the year.
