Wallingford’s Portcullis Tennis Club Chairman Alan Hayes and Head Coach Ryan Trickey are cycling from Wimbledon to Stade Roland Garros to raise money for the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust.
The Trust was set up as part of the Tennis Foundation's commitment to make tennis accessible to everyone. It supports tennis for wheelchair users, deaf people and people with learning disabilities.
Alan and Ryan will be riding 233 miles between the two Grand Slam venues over three days between May 21st and May 23rd arriving in time for the start of the French Open on May 24th. The pair are funding the trip themselves and have used the Just Giving website to set up a quick and easy way to make donations to the charity.
