The mission of British Tennis and the Tennis Scotland Development Team is ‘More People Playing Tennis More Often’. Clubs are crucial to the success of this mission, providing opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy the sport. From coaches providing hours of expert delivery, team tennis, social play, volunteering or simply having a great experience of our sport, clubs are at the core of tennis.
The responsibility of running a tennis club can sometimes feel overwhelming, from legal and governance responsibilities, financial planning, attracting and rewarding volunteers, and providing the best possible environment for players and members. Tennis Scotland is therefore developing a Club Development programme that will support club volunteers to identify your priorities and make regular improvements.
The Club Development programme consists of a number of different support tools, from local Tennis Development Group meetings to workshops and online support software. Click on the links below to find out more, or speak to your Regional Development Manager.
