Tennis Scotland are looking to appoint a National Academy Performance Co-ordinator. This is a unique and exciting opportunity as Tennis Scotland delivers and operates a new GB National Academy at the University of Stirling, a crucial part of the vision to make Britain one of the most respected nations in the world for player development. The central Scottish location is strategically important and at the centre of our tennis development plans with partners the University of Stirling, sportscotland Institute of Sport and our National Player Programme.

British Tour FAST4 Western

Durham's Harry Cookson and Lucia Rizza from Edinburgh won the final leg of Scotland's 2018 British Tour FAST4 circuit played at the Western club, Glasgow at the weekend.
Cookson, the second seed, beat the host club's Matthew Gibson-Smith 4-2 4-1 in the men's final with Rizza overcoming Rosie Sterk 4-3 4-1 to take the women's title.

LTA Level 3 Course - Apply Now

Applications are now open for the LTA Level 3 course in Scotland starting in February 2019. The LTA Level 3 coach qualification course is for coaches who want to work full time within the tennis coaching profession. On successful completion of the coach qualification candidates will be able to:

• Coach beginners and improvers in groups and as individuals
• Understand the basics of business management
• Understand the competitive structure in the UK
• Manage the work of Level 1 and 2 coaching assistants
