LTA ANNOUNCES TENNIS SCOTLAND AS ONE OF THE UK’S TWO NEW NATIONAL ACADEMIES.

Tennis Scotland at Stirling and Loughborough University have today been named as the UK’s two National Academies for tennis, a major milestone in the development of the Lawn Tennis Association’s ten-year Performance Strategy for British Tennis.

Wimbledon wild card announcements

Four Scots have been named in the Wimbledon wild card announcement today. This brings the total number of Scots competing to at least 8 with Jamie Murray in the men’s doubles, Cameron Norrie in the men’s singles, Gordon Reid in the wheelchair singles and doubles, Aidan McHugh in the boys singles and Colin Fleming in the Invitational Doubles!

Scottish Cup comes to a close this weekend

The 2018 Scottish Cup Finals will take place this Sunday at Craiglockhart Tennis Centre in Edinburgh.

Three World Champions to attend the Scottish Visually Impaired Team Tournament

Following on from a very successful Visually Impaired Team Tennis Competition in Scotland last year, Glasgow Disability Tennis are hosting this event again on Saturday 30th June from 12pm to 6pm on the indoor courts at Newlands Tennis Club.
