Jonny O’Mara Runner up at Challenger in Mexico
Jonny O’Mara and partner Luke Bambridge were runners up at the Mexico City Challenger. The 3rd seeds won their first round match 6-2, 6-3, and then reached the semi-final after a 7-6, 6-1 win over S.Korda (USA) and N.Majia (COL).
In the semi-final the pair won a tense match tiebreak 11-9 to take the match 6-4, 3-6, 11-9 and make the final where they played the German pair of Y.Hanfmann and K.Krawietz. However the pair were denied a famous victory following a 6-2, 7-6 lose.

Ross Martin and James Mackinlay win the Boys Doubles at the Notts Junior Open
Ross Martin and James Mackinlay took home the 18U Boys Doubles title at the Notts Junior Open at the weekend after coming through a very tight final.
The pair successfully defeated the top seeds at the Quarter-Final stage and then won their semi-final 6-3, 6-4, to face William Butler and Alexander Groves in the final. After taking the first set 7-6, the pair lost the second 5-7 to take the match to a tie-break decider.
Ross martin and James Mackinlay won the 18U Boys Doubles after winning a very tight. After going down 9-7 and facing match point, the pair won the next four points to take the tie-break and the title, winning 11-9.
Elsewhere other notable performances included Matthew Rankin reaching the QF of the boys 14U doubles; Sam Macleod reaching the Last 16 of the boys 16U singles; Maisie Wood reaching the Last 16 of the girls 16U singles and QF of the doubles; Lucia Rizza reaching the QF of the 16U doubles and Last 16 of the girls 18U competition, and both Patrick Young and James MacKinlay reaching the QF of the boys 18U singles.
