Tennis on the Road and Tennis Scotland are delighted to offer you the opportunity to attend our latest National CPD workshops with Judy Murray OBE and Kris Soutar on Sunday 20th August at St George's School, Edinburgh.
Growing your tennis programme through the winter using school or community halls
In this practical and interactive workshop, Judy Murray and Kris Soutar will introduce you to innovative, powerful and fun ideas on how to deliver high quality sessions throughout the winter, when you may not always have access to tennis courts.
As coaches we don’t always have access to indoor courts so we may have to adapt our coaching to deliver high quality learning in school or community halls. Being able to use these spaces is a great way to welcome more people to your programme, deliver more sessions through the winter months and to offer your players more friendly competitive opportunities.
In the morning, Judy and Kris will show you how to deliver fun sessions packed with quality learning for younger players and teenagers. In the afternoon, Judy and Kris will show you how to deliver fun recreational competitions for all ages when you don’t have access to tennis courts. You will leave with lots of great ideas on how to build your coaching programme and business through running brilliant sessions and recreational competitions during the winter months.
