The 2017 Scottish Inter Club Challenge Cup has reached the quarter final stage with ties scheduled for this weekend at clubs throughout Scotland.

Clubs across South Lanarkshire are serving up an exciting pilot programme allowing more people to get on court this summer. The Summer Club Saver scheme has recently launched in South Lanarkshire and is giving families the opportunity to become short term club members over the summer season. If they enjoy the experience they will also have the opportunity to become year round club members.

The 2017 Scottish Secondary Schools Tennis Team Championships concludes this Thursday (8th June), with the Semi Finals and Finals taking place at St George’s School for Girls in Edinburgh.

Five HSBC Road To Wimbledon events took place across Scotland at the weekend - 4 County Finals and 1 Regional Qualifier - with the winners progressing to play at Wimbledon.

From today, community tennis groups across Scotland can register their interest to benefit from the LTA, Tennis Scotland and sportscotland’s £15 million joint fund, called Transforming Scottish Indoor Tennis.

This month tennis coaches Adam Brown and Mike Martin embark on two trips out to Spain with a number of Scottish juniors from their coaching programme. Their first trip was a visit to Majorca where they trained at the famous Vilas Tennis Academy and also had the opportunity to attend the WTA Mallorca Open.

Scotland’s top juniors will next week play against the best young players in Britain as the 2017 Scottish Junior Open Championships start on Saturday in Edinburgh and in Glasgow.
