Tennis Scotland in partnership with The Tennis Foundation are running a subsidised wheelchair tennis camp aimed at beginners and existing players who want to learn new skills and develop their technique under the guidance of experienced coaches.
The four hour camp will be led by the Tennis Scotland Wheelchair Tennis Engagement Officer and assistant coaches who will provide useful tips and advice on how to develop the player's game. Players will be split into different ability groups to ensure a quality experience for all players.
The camp will cover the following during the day:
- Maximising chair set up to improve performance and comfort
- Drills to improve mobility and speed around the court
- Activities to develop groundstrokes and serve
- Fun games
- Saturday 29th July
- 11am - 5pm
