The Quarter Finals of the Scottish Inter Club Challenge Cup were played at the weekend in both the Mens and Womens draws.
David Lloyd Aberdeen, the current men’s champions, are through to the semi-final stage of this year’s competition with a 5-1 win over St. Serf’s in Edinburgh. The holders will be at home to Giffnock, 6-0 winners over local rivals, Whitecraigs. In the other semi-final, Thorn Park, winners in 2015, will play Thistle away. In quarter-final ties last Saturday, Thorn Park beat Newlands 5-1 with Thistle beating Western by the same margin.
David Lloyd Aberdeen’s women’s team also progressed to the semi-final with 5-2 victory over Strathgryffe and will now play Newlands.
