Andy Murray will become the new world number 1 on Monday after reaching the final of the Paris Masters.

Tennis Scotland is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Workforce Development Manager to build on the education and development offer currently in place and achieve the mission and targets within the Tennis Scotland strategy.

The Scottish Inter-Club Challenge - the Scottish Cup - will continue as a one stage competition in 2017 following positive feedback from many clubs following its introduction last season. Online entries will be accepted from club teams from 1st January.

Tennis Scotland is seeking to recruit a National Coach to achieve the performance elements of the mission and targets within the Tennis Scotland strategy. He / she will plan and deliver the National Programme for Tennis Scotland's high performance players and provide leadership and strategic direction to the player development programme to ensure that more Scottish players achieve their potential on the performance pathway.

Karen Ross has been involved in tennis for most of her life having been a successful player before transitioning to a career in coaching. As coach to 2016 Wimbledon and Paralympic champion Gordon Reid she has enjoyed a remarkable year and her achievements have been recognised in recent weeks with a number of national awards.

The Tennis Scotland Winter National Competitions kick off at the start of January with the Scottish 18U and 14U Indoor Championships.
