Two Titles for Maia at Sunderland
Maia Lumsden picked up two titles at the ITF Aegon GB Pro-series in Sunderland at the weekend after winning both the singles and doubles draws.
In the singles, Maia’s most challenging match proved to be in the Last 16 where she came back from a set and 5-3 down to win the match 4-6, 7-5, 6-1. Following this match, Maia didn’t drop a set, winning the final in convincing fashion over Freya Christie 6-4, 6-0. The previous day, Maia won the doubles with Eleni Kordolaimi of Greece with the pair beating British pair Jodie Anna Burrage and Tanysha Dissanayake in the final 2-6, 6-2 [11-9].
The two victories tops off a fantastic fortnight for Maia after she won the doubles and reached the singles semi-final of the Pro-series event in the Wirral the previous week.
Maia now goes into the TS Open Tour TS 1000 event this week in fantastic form and looking tough to stop.

Semi Final for Jamie Murray
Jamie Murray reached the semi-finals of the Paris Masters with partner Bruno Soares before losing out to eventual winners Lukasz Kubot (POL) and Marcelo Melo (BRA) 6-4, 6-2.
The pair’s next event will be the Nitto ATP Finals in London next week.
First ITF Futures Singles event for Stewart
Hamish Stewart featured in his first ITF Futures singles event in Niceville, Florida over the weekend. Hamish managed to get through two qualifying rounds before losing out to fellow Brit Paul Jubb over 3 sets in the 3rd Qualifying round 5-7 6-3, 6-2.
