A round-up of some of the action involving Scottish players last week.
Semi-Finals for Scottish Trio
Jamie Murray and partner Bruno Soares reached the semi-final of the Nitto ATP Finals in London last week.
The pair won two out of three games in the pool stages which was enough for them to top their group. They beat Dodig & Grannolers 6-1, 6-1 and top seeds Kubot & Melo 6-2,6-4 but lost out to the Bryan brothers 5-7, 7-6, 8-10.
In the semi-final they faced Henri Kontinen and John Peers, who proved to be too strong for them, losing out to the eventual winners of the tournament 7-6, 6-2.
Cameron Norrie reached the semi-final of the Champaign Challenger in Illinois, US. Cameron eased his way through three matches dropping only 13 games in the process, before losing out to eventual winner Tim Smyczek in three sets 5-7, 7-6, 3-6.
Jonny O’Mara and partner Scott Clayton reached the semi-final s of the MSLTA Challenger in Pune, India. The pair lost out to the eventual winners Tomislav Brkic and Ante Pavic 7-5, 6-4.
This week Jonny and Scott will stay in India and compete at the Bengaluru Open where they are seeded 4th.
