Scots Scott Duncan and James Mackinlay head the entries for the British Tour men’s event which starts at the Newlands club in Glasgow on Friday.

Strathgryffe men are Division 1 front runners at the halfway stage of this season's Team Tennis Scotland league competition. The Renfrewshire team are unbeaten in their first three ties and travel this weekend to the Kinnoull club for what could be the championship decider. The Perth team, current title holders, are also unbeaten having won their opening two matches.

Yorkshire junior Johannus Monday beat Scotland's James Mackinlay to win his first British Tour title on Sunday at the Newlands club in Glasgow.

Tennis Scotland is looking to appoint a FInance Manager and is working with Rutherford Cross to deliver on this.

Kinnoull men successfully defended their Team Tennis title on Saturday but had to work hard to beat Cults in their final match. With the six singles and doubles rubbers shared, the match was decided by a tie-break shoot out which the holders won against their Aberdeen opponents to remain unbeaten in this year's competition. The Perth side will again represent Scotland when the national playoffs are played in 2019.
Edinburgh St. Serf's will be promoted to the top tier after finishing top in Division 2.

The 2019 Scottish Senior Players' Championships, an ITF Grade 3 event, will be played at Scotstoun Leisure Centre, Glasgow from Thursday 31st January to Sunday 3rd February 2019.
