Glasgow Wheelchair Tennis Tournament 2017 | 7/8 October

Scotstoun Leisure Centre plays host to the Glasgow Wheelchair Tennis Tournament on the 7/8 October, as part of the Roma Sport National Wheelchair Tennis Series.

The Roma Sport National Wheelchair Tennis Series caters for players of all abilities and is the entry-level tier of tournaments for wheelchair players in Great Britain. The event, supported by the Tennis Foundation is a great way to meet other wheelchair players and gives you the chance to test your game at a competitive level.

For new players, every tournament will have a Novice division that is only for players who haven’t competed before, and will be a fun, supportive way to try out playing competitively for the first time. The players with a bit more experiencecan enter the main drawand are able to gain points at each tournament according to their finishing position. At the end of year, awards will be given to the top ranked male and female players in both Singles and Doubles.

Date: Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th October
Venue: Scotstoun Leisure Centre, Glasgow, G14 9HD
Entry Fee: £20 – payable on arrival
Catering: Scotstoun Leisure Centre has a café with a good selection of snacks and light meals. Packed lunches can also be taken into the tennis hall.

Closing date for entries – Thursday 28th September
