After an unprecedented response with regards to entries, the Tennis Scotland Open Tour begins this weekend with the TS 300 events taking place in 13 locations across Scotland.
The tournament which is aimed at providing competitive opportunities for players of all standards in Scotland will kick off this weekend after the draw for the TS 300 events took place earlier in the week.
This weekend will see around 300 players taking part across Scotland with a further 100 joining at either the TS 500 or TS 1000 stages, which take part later in the year.
The tournament has received an overwhelming response with many of the locations oversubscribed. Tournament managers Mike Cohen, who is managing the tournament along with Euan McGinn said,
“The number of entries for the TS Open Tour has been fantastic with a total number of 520 signed up. We are thrilled with the support the tour has received and the number of entries has helped exemplify the need for a tournament like this.
We hope everyone enjoys their experience of playing fun competitive tennis and hopefully we will be able to roll out more events next year to accommodate the demand shown.”
Spectators are welcome to come and show support at all of the venues.
